We just received an updated picture from a kind woman named Ellen. She is over there now getting her daughter.
Lauren was a bit upset as she aparently doesn't like strangers too much. (Ut Oh!) She is so beautiful and looks very healthy! Her lip looks fantastic. She is clearly being well taken care of.
We can't wait to meet her in person!

Look at her!!! Gorgeous! Brings tears to my eyes. Cute little piggies in her hair. I'll be watching the site for updates.
OK Philip and I just clicked on that gorgeous photo...and realized that she's holding a PIG. I don't know if you realize the incredible significance of that - Lucy's favourite (obsessive) animals are pigs. She can't be without her stuffed goo goo (dirty brown pig)...reads books about pigs and watches old-school Charlotte's Web as many times as we will let her. I think this is a very very positive sign.
